Subscription & Payment Terms

These Subscription and Payment Terms explain how subscriptions and one-time purchases work in LifeOctave (the “Service”). By starting a subscription or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.
All payments, renewals, and charges are processed through Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android), not through LifeOctave. Subscription management and refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their rules.
LifeOctave does not store full payment card details. We may store limited purchase or subscription-related records necessary to provide access to purchased content, restore purchases, manage subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.
1. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
LifeOctave may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that provide ongoing access to content and features. Unless the subscription is canceled, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period.
Key points:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) upon confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The renewal charge will occur within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in Apple ID settings (iOS) or in Google Play (Android).
- Prices may vary by region and may include applicable taxes (e.g., VAT).
2. Subscription Types
The “My Access” subscription may include, for example:
- access to NUMERA calculators (Meaning of the Month, Meaning of the Year, Compatibility, and others);
- access to tests (Scale Test, Number Test, Color Test);
- access to “Daily Sound” content and journaling sections;
- app design customization.
Exact names, prices, and billing periods may vary by region and may be updated over time.
3. Free Trials
From time to time, we may offer free trial periods. If you start a trial:
- if you do not cancel before the end of the trial, it will convert to a paid subscription;
- your Apple ID or Google account will be charged the standard subscription price at the end of the trial;
- trial eligibility may be limited, for example to new users only.
4. One-Time Purchases
The Service may offer one-time purchases, for example:
- access to individual calculators or tests;
- unlocking specific features or content.
One-time purchases:
- are charged once to your Apple ID or Google account at the time of purchase;
- do not renew automatically;
- are generally non-refundable, except as provided by Apple or Google’s policies.
5. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices to the extent permitted by applicable rules. If the price changes for an active subscription, Apple or Google may notify you and request confirmation of the new price before applying it. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription.
6. Refunds
Payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google and are governed by their refund policies. LifeOctave does not process or control refunds directly.
7. Canceling a Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- On iOS: “Settings” → your name (Apple ID) → “Subscriptions” → select “LifeOctave My Access” and tap “Cancel Subscription”.
- On Android: open Google Play → “Subscriptions” → select “LifeOctave My Access” and tap “Cancel subscription”.
Canceling stops future charges but does not automatically provide a refund for the current period. After cancellation, access to subscription content may remain available until the end of the already paid period.
